Hi, I’m Poppy—well, officially known as Malin Poppy Darcy Mörner. I'm a passionate Swedish photographer based in the charming little town of Mariefred, which is located just outside of bustling Stockholm. I live in a dreamy green house that holds so many happy memories, shared with my husband, Gustav (my high school crush who has since become my life partner), and our two wonderful daughters, Stella and Lykke.
I’m deeply passionate about adventure and exploration, yet I equally cherish the moments that allow me to slow down and savor life’s quieter, more intimate experiences. At heart, I am a storyteller and a true people person, finding joy in connecting with others. Coffee and wine hold a special place in my heart, right up there with my other favorites. I can’t resist singing along to my favorite songs while driving in the car, dancing joyfully in the rain, and soaking in every precious moment that life offers. To me, life is full of enchanting magic, and I’m here to embrace it all—and I genuinely can’t wait to learn more about you!
Though I proudly call Sweden my home, I have an insatiable love for travel that takes me both near and far whenever a story tugs at my soul. Come say hello—I would absolutely love to connect with you!

I fell in love with photography the moment I received my first camera when I was young. The connection that I developed then with this beautiful artform made me realize that even though life takes twists and turns, photography will stay with me forever.
Location, light and love
When it comes to the location, I believe you can find beauty anywhere. Whether that’s at the beach, in the forest, in the studio or simply in the comfort of your home. You can find beauty if you look for it. What you perceive as beauty may differ to another photographer. For me, when it comes to capturing candid moments, I try to find shots that express love, happiness and honest connections. If you’re around people that feel comfortable with you, you’re almost certain to capture them in their most natural and candid state. I try to capture raw and authentic moments that will give you results you will truly cherish forever.

When I photograph I always see beauty. Even if you’re shy or uncomfortable in front of the camera, I will do everything to make you feel good. I want you to feel what I see! I want to hear your story, I want to get to know you, not because I am curious about you, but simply because I believe that you get closer to a person, if you open up and share something that is important to you. I can’t wait to hear more about you and capture you, by simply being yourself.
